Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS) is a prestigious medical college located in Kanya Kumari, Tamil Nadu, India. The institute was established in 2006, and since then it has been providing quality medical education to its students. The college is affiliated with Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, and is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI)  Candidates who want to join the MBBS program at SMIMS must register and qualify for the NEET exam by obtaining a good score in it. NEET is a national-level entrance examination conducted in pen and paper mode. The exam consists of 180 multiple-choice questions and the duration of the exam is three hours.
