School of Medical Sciences & Research (SMSR) is a private medical college located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The college was established in the year 2009 and is affiliated with Sharda University. SMSR is recognized by the Medical Council of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India The college provides both undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) medical courses. The course curriculum is designed to provide medical education in a modern and integrated manner. The college has a 700-bedded multi-specialty hospital that provides quality health care to the population of the region Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has a modern infrastructure equipped with advanced facilities and provides a conducive environment for learning. Courses offered:The School of Medical Sciences & Research offers two courses, which are as MBBS: The undergraduate MBBS program is of 5.5 years, including a 1-year mandatory internship. Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS program should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (for general category) and 40% marks (for SC/ST/OBC category) in aggregate in the qualifying examination. MD/MS: The postgraduate MD/MS courses are offered in various specializations such as anatomy, anesthesia, community medicine, dermatology, ENT, general medicine, microbiology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pathology, pediatrics, pharmacology, psychiatry, physiology, and radiology.Admission Process: Admission to the MBBS program is granted based on the candidate's NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) score. Candidates must have appeared and qualified for the NEET exam to secure admission to the college. For admission to the MD/MS program, candidates should have completed their undergraduate MBBS program and must have appeared and qualified for the NEET-PG exam NEET is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses offered by various colleges and universities across India. The exam patterns and syllabus for NEET are designed to test the candidate's knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the 10+2 level
