Saraswati Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) is a private medical college located in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in the year 2008 and is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. SIMS offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various medical streams The infrastructure of SIMS is spread over 26 acres of land and includes a well-equipped campus with clean and spacious lecture halls, a modern library, an auditorium, and separate hostels for boys and girls. SIMS also has a well-equipped hospital with 650 beds, advanced diagnostic, and treatment facilities. The hospital is also equipped with a Blood Bank, Pharmacy, and Ambulance services Undergraduate Courses: SIMS offers a 5.5-year MBBS course which includes 4.5 years of classroom teaching and clinical training, followed by a 1-year compulsory internship.  Postgraduate Courses: SIMS offers a 3-year MD/MS course in various disciplines. The college provides postgraduate education in MD/MS in Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Anesthesia, Pediatrics, General Medicine, TB and Chest Medicine, Dermatology, Radiology, and Psychiatry. Paramedical Courses: Apart from medical courses, SIMS offers various paramedical courses such as Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), Bachelor of Science in Optometry, Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT), Radiography, and Imaging Technology (B.Sc. RIT). The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31st of the year in which they are appearing for the exam. - The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in their 10+2 board examination.- For SC/ST/OBC category candidates, a relaxation of 5% is provided as they require only 45% marks in PCB subjects. The NEET exam consists of 180 multiple choice questions and is conducted in an offline mode (pen and paper-based). The exam is for a total of 720 marks, with each question carrying four marks. There is negative marking, and one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer
