Rama University, Kanpur is a private university that was established in 2014 by the Rama Group. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in disciplines such as engineering, management, medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, law, agriculture, etc. The university is accredited by NAAC and approved by UGC, AICTE, DCI, INC, MCI, and BCI. It has three campuses with a total area of 150 acres and more than 1500 faculty members. The university conducts its own entrance test, RUET, for admission to some of its courses. It also accepts national-level exams like NEET, GATE, CAT, MAT, etc. The university has a placement cell that organizes campus recruitment drives with reputed companies.
