The National Insurance Academy (NIA), located in Pune, Maharashtra, is a premier institute that specializes in education and research in the field of insurance, management, and related areas.   Established in 1980 by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, NIA has since then become a reputed institution of national and international repute. The institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).  NIA has a highly qualified and experienced faculty who come from diverse backgrounds and are experts in their respective areas of study.
