Nandha Medical College and Hospital is a private medical college in Erode, Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 2001 and is affiliated with The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)  Undergraduate Courses:    The college offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program which is a 5.5-year course duration with a compulsory 1-year rotating internship. The program has an intake of 150 students per year.     The college also offers a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) program in Nursing, which is a 4-year course duration with an intake of 100 students per year.    Postgraduate Courses:   The college offers a range of postgraduate courses such as Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) in various specializations. The MD and MS programs have specializations such as General Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dermatology and MS in Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopedics, and others. The duration of these programs varies from 3 to 5 years.   Apart from excellent infrastructure, the college has a team of experienced faculty members who use modern teaching methodologies to impart quality education to the students. The college has well-equipped classrooms, modern laboratories, a well-stocked library, and a spacious auditorium. The college has a fully functional 900-bedded multi-disciplinary hospital, which serves as a practical learning laboratory for students. The hospital has various departments such as Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Oncology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, etc. Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as mandatory subjects    Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the 10+2 examination. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
