Melmaruvathur  Adiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (MAPIMS) is a renowned medical college situated in Melmaruvathur, Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 2006 and is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)  MAPIMS offers undergraduate courses such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing, and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm). The MBBS program is a 4.5-year course duration with one year of compulsory rotating internship. The B.Sc in Nursing is a 4-year program having 50 seats, and the B.Pharm program is of 4-years duration having 60 seats Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as mandatory subjects.
Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the 10+2 examination.
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.  The application process for NEET-UG usually begins in December, and the exam is usually conducted in May. The registration process can be done online on the official website of NTA
