Malnad College of Engineering(MCE) is an autonomous engineering college located in Hassan, Karnataka. The college was founded in 1960 by Late Sri. K. C. Kondaiah, an eminent engineer, and visionary, to provide quality education in engineering to students from rural areas. MCE is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. The college campus is spread over an area of 41 acres amidst the lush green forest of the Western Ghats. It has state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities including well-equipped laboratories, libraries, classrooms, seminar halls, and sports facilities. MCE has highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty who focuses on providing an excellent education to students.  MCE has collaborations with various organizations and industries in India and abroad, which offer internships and research opportunities to the students. The college has a well-established placement cell that coordinates with various companies for employment opportunities and provides placement training to the students. The college has a good track record of placements, with many leading companies such as TCS, IBM, Capgemini, Infosys, and many more, recruiting students from the college.
