Maharishi Markandeshwar College of Medical Sciences & Research (MMCMSR) is a medical college established in 1998. It is located in Ambala, Haryana, India, and is affiliated with Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), a deemed university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) The college is spread over a sprawling campus of 47 acres and has modern infrastructure and facilities. The campus includes well-equipped classrooms, lecture halls, fully equipped laboratories, and a state-of-the-art hospital that has more than 1200 beds. The hospital has specialty departments in various fields of medicine and caters to the medical needs of the rural and urban populations The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of medical sciences. The undergraduate medical program, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), is a five-and-a-half-year course that includes four-and-a-half years of classroom and clinical studies and a one-year compulsory rotating internship.
