Established in 2021 it is affiliated with the Barkatullah University and is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare The college offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) medical courses. LCMC has a world-class infrastructure that includes classrooms, laboratories, an auditorium, digital library, and a fully equipped hospital with ultramodern facilities. The MBBS course at LCMC is a 5.5 year program that includes four and a half years of classroom learning and clinical rotations followed by a one-year compulsory internship at the associated hospital.
