Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences, also known as KIMS, is a private medical college located in Pudukkottai district, Tamil Nadu, India. The college was established in 2009 and is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. KIMS is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).KIMS offers an undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The duration of the course is five and a half years, including a year-long internship. The college has well-equipped classrooms, examination halls, and laboratories for the practical training of the students. The hospital attached to the college has a capacity of 700 beds and provides modern medical facilities and clinical exposure to students.Admission to the MBBS course is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), followed by the counseling process.
