Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM-N) is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in India. It was established in 2015 with the support of the Government of India, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), and the Government of Maharashtra. The institute is located in MIHAN SEZ (Special Economic Zone) in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The foundation stone for IIM Nagpur was laid by the then Minister of Human Resource Development, Smriti Irani in August 2015. The institute began its academic session in July 2015, with its first batch of students enrolled in the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP). IIM Nagpur started its operations from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) campus in Nagpur, with its own campus expected to be completed by 2022. Today, the institute boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, including a well-stocked library, IT infrastructure, and modern classrooms. The institute has a distinguished faculty, with many members having extensive experience in industry and academia. The curriculum at IIM Nagpur focuses on developing a strong foundation in management subjects and emphasizes practical knowledge IIM Nagpur offers a two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), which is equivalent to a regular MBA program. The institute also offers a one-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) for working professionals. Both the programs are designed to provide a rigorous and holistic learning experience to students.
