Hind Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS) is a widely known medical college located in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Established in the year 2008, the college is affiliated with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).  The college also provides various extracurricular facilities to its students to develop their overall personality. It has well-equipped sports grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, etc. The college has a dedicated cultural committee that organizes various cultural activities  Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS): This is a four-and-a-half-year undergraduate course that includes a year-long compulsory internship. The course comprises subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine.

The NEET exam comprises 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for a total of 720 marks. The exam duration is three hours, and the questions are asked in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu languages
