It was established in 1998 by PKMET Trust, with a vision to provide quality technical education to the rural students. ABIPER offers various courses in pharmacy, such as B.Pharma, M.Pharma, Pharm.D, Pharm-D 6 years, D.Pharma, and Ph.D in pharmaceutics. ABIPER is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by AICTE, UGC, INC, and PCI.
